I have completed my first pair of 2-At-A-Time Socks. I have enjoyed learning this technic and it is extremely gratifying to find at the end of going through the pattern one time, I have two socks to show for my effort.
I need to work a little on making those first few rows of ribbing neat, as you can see, they need some work, but overall, it was fairly easy to keep straight. Another issue was it was more difficult to keep the stitches from laddering at the sides but again, it's something I think I will work out after a few tries. The book was wonderful with full color pictures showing each step along the way and detailed explanations. I actually like the technic in knitting socks better this way than doing it singly. I am hooked! I will knit most of my sock patterns this way now.
And, yes, I did fix the yarn over that was several rows back. I just couldn't stand looking at that hole in the instep so I spent an hour pulling it back out again. I'm happier for the effort!
May God Bless and Keep You in His Grace,
Lynne
