First week in Florida and the air conditioner in the truck goes out...
It is 8:40 pm and I took to the road with Josh in the truck to aquire the parts to repair the truck at Auto Zone. It is surprisingly pleasant outside considering it is actually over 90+ degrees but with the slight breeze, it is tolerable, of course, tomorrow, will be roasting. We are praying it is a quick fix since we had planned a family trip to the beach for the morning complete with a floating wheelchair and don't want to cancel.
So, we are keeping the faith, we can fix it tonight!!!
Until later...
Epilogue:
It was partially fixed, the fan will come on now but the harness the fan plugs into was damaged when the last one went out so that will need to be replaced by the dealership on Monday so this doesn't happen again... After years of the Durango being completely reliable even though we needed to do very little in the way of repairs, we've had to spend a little time bringing the truck up to 'road worthiness' for traveling. I think we are almost there. It turned the 100k mark this month so we probably don't have it for much longer but it has been a fantastic vehicle.
